Blown Radiometer

Regular price $33
( / )

In 1873, Sir William Crookes invented a glass radiometer with lightweight metal vanes that mysteriously spun when hit by light. The mechanism was the subject of much scientific debate following its debut, until it was finally decided the change of temperate in the partial vacuum was responsible for its mesmerising spin. This hand-blown glass accent brings the same miracle to a desk near you.
